Chapter 2. Understand Yourself and Others

Pythagorean Square: The Basics of Basics

The Pythagorean square (or psychomatrix) is a grid of nine cells filled with numbers according to specific rules. Each of these cells reveals our innate qualities, as well as our strengths and weaknesses, talents and abilities, passions and aspirations. Right from the outset, it's crucial to understand that the matrix is not a crystal ball or a tool for fortune-telling. It is better to perceive it as a roadmap, showing the path which allow you to reveal yourself to the full, skillfully using your assets and mitigating negative traits. Also, it is not a “ready meal” – rather, it is a list of ingredients provided to you by nature, but how you use them depends on your circumstances, your skills, the people around you and on YOUR CHOICE in various situations.

That is why people born on the same day and sharing the same matrix often diverge in their life paths. After all, potatoes can be mashed or boiled or fried – tastes differ, and it all depends on your preferences and actions. Will you follow your mother’s delicious recipe? Or try your own?

How to calculate your own matrix? The easiest way is to visit my website, www.numerolog-anael.ru, and enter your birthdate into the designated field on the special form. However, you can also do it manually – it is quite easy, and it lets you grasp each step, seeing the origin of the numbers in the cells.

1. Write down your birthdate.

For example, 02.12.1990.

2. Sum up all the digits.

0 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 24.

24 is the first additional number.

3. Combine the digits of the first additional number.

2 + 4 = 6.

6 is the second additional number.

4. Multiply the first digit of your birthdate (or the second if the first is zero) by two, and subtract the result from the first additional number.

24 – 2 × 2 = 20.

20 is the third additional number.

5. Find the sum of the digits in the third additional number: 2 + 0 = 2.

2 is the fourth additional number.

6. Arrange the numbers as follows:

02.12.1990 (birthdate).

24, 6, 20, 2 (additional numbers).

7. Draw a square, divide it into nine equal cells, and fill them with numbers as shown. Then count how often a particular number appears in your birthdate and in additional numbers. Please note that we exclude zero.

That’s it – we have the matrix! Now let’s explore its sectors through the lens of numerology. Each cell serves as an indicator of a certain personality trait, and the presence or absence of digits reveals its intensity in someone. We will return to this concept later and discuss it in more detail.

So, how should we interpret this?

1st cell – Character

Moral fiber, hardiness, resilience, volitional powers, determination, self-confidence, ability to implement your views.

2nd cell – Energy

Energy resources and reserves, sexuality and the power of communication.

3rd cell – Interest

Cognitive potential, common sense, practical wisdom, mother wit, ingenuity, ability to solve various problems, interest in sciences, as well as the presence or absence of fears and inclination to positive or pessimistic attitude.

4th cell – Health

Physical strength and endurance, efficiency, self-discipline, the body’s resistance to various influences, mental stability, stress tolerance, the power to restrain oneself.

5th cell – Logic

Skill in managing your talents, desire to engage with the world and share your insights, the ability to reason, draw up complex plans and listen to intuition.

6th cell – Work

Professionalism, mastery, ability to do hard work and endure physical exertion, implementation of practical skills and materialization of something abstract into tangible world – in other words, the ability to bring ideas to life. Yet, it also a sign of dangerous, destructive powers and the ability to influence large groups.

7th cell – Luck

Fortune in the material realm, understanding of cosmic patterns and laws (wisdom), the ability to interact with higher powers, and the acuity of intuition.

8th cell – Duty

Sense of duty, responsibility, decency, obligation, tolerance. Inner conscience, unconditional sense of justice. The cell also shows the connection with parents and society, as well as some karmic problems.

9th cell – Memory

Mind, memory, experience, talent to clairvoyance, compassion and analysis based on memory and elementary prudence.

In numerology, we also examine the number of digits in each row, column and diagonal – they determine the following indicators:

The first line – Goal (Character, Health, Luck)

One of the attributes of success: the more numbers you find here, the more confident and assertive you are in achieving your goals and earning recognition.

The second line – Family (Energy, Logic, Duty)

Reveals the importance of your loved ones, especially your family, in your life, and thus uncovers your priorities in marriage or career. It also shows how compatible you are and what you expect from a partner.

The third line – Habits (Interest, Work, Memory)

Speaks about your constancy or lack of it: is it hard for you to change, are you unpredictable or stable in your habits.

The first column – Self-esteem (Character, Energy, Interest)

Shows the importance of asserting your individuality and proving yourself to others.

The second column – Way of life (Health, Logic, Work)

Reflects the strength of your determination and capacity to support your family, pursue financial benefits, grow your wealth, and maintain financial independence.

The third column – Talent (Luck, Duty, Memory)

Let me say it loud and clear: everyone is talented. Those with a remarkable talent simply possess a broader array of advantages. Yet, they also have a risk to spread themselves too thin and fail to develop any of their ability.

Descending diagonal – Spirituality (Character, Logic, Memory)

Speaks of yearning to grow spiritually, to reveal profound truths, to seek God.

Ascending diagonal – Temperament (Interest, Logic, Luck)

Reflects the intensity of sexual desire and activity, as well as one’s perceived attractiveness to others.

Should you worry if a cell contains no digits or, on the contrary, too many? Certainly not, because each one of us is unique. And of course, everyone will have their own number of digits defined by our birthdate numbers, which reveal themselves in various ways.

For now, it's crucial to understand that the number of digits in the cells shows the intensity of certain qualities.

If you have:

No digits – the quality is absent or sporadic.

One digit – the quality is subtle, almost imperceptible.

Two digits – the quality is normal but not dominant.

Three digits – the quality fluctuates: it can surge and then wane dramatically.

Four digits – the quality is well-developed, but still has room to grow.

Five digits – the quality peaks, sometimes overshadowing other traits, which can create some problems.

Six digits or more – quality becomes overwhelming: it sharply weakens and emerges in full power only under certain conditions.

Soon we will delve into a thorough analysis of the matrix, revealing all the subtleties of your character, strengths, and talents. Please, take your time reading the details of each cell. If you rush through, you might soon complain: “There is not enough energy and the luck cell is empty – it means I am a loser!”

My friends, there are no bad psychomatrices! Each is unique, it has its own nuances, and it's up to you to discern and leverage them. Even empty sectors can give you an edge, and certain combinations, that initially seem unfavorable, may reveal your distinct potential. So, please, don't hasty dismiss your "negative" traits or "unfortunate" destiny. Read the book to the end (and maybe even a couple of times), grasp all the subtle patterns, and you will see how lucky you are to be born on this day.

From Zero to Nine: Nuances of the Matrix

Here, we explore various ways of distribution of the numbers in the matrix and their significance, with notable examples highlighted in the section titled "Individual Features." These combinations are by no means exhaustive, yet still they offer you a glimpse into the diverse ways these patterns can manifest. If you're intrigued, I invite you to explore the literature and join my courses, where we can freely discuss any questions or topics that pique your interest!

The Number One – Character Cell
No digits

A very rare indicator. It often signals a lack of resolve, even to the point where someone might be seen as weak-willed. However, there's hope: the presence of Eights in your matrix can change this. Their influence can fortify your character, turning potential weakness into strength.

One digit

A deeply contradictory character. These individuals are stubborn and yearn for leadership, yet they lack the resolve needed to make hard decisions. Their energy is often spent on creating an image that fits a leader, but this is merely a facade that masks their indecision, vulnerability, and despair stemming from the gap between reality and their expectations. To assert their importance, they may display deliberate rudeness, assertiveness, resist any opinions that differ from their own and act as antagonists, projecting an air of power. This type of character suits women more, as their outward aloofness often draws attention, flattering their pride. Men with a single digit in the first cell may lack confidence, because being a leader and appearing to be one are not the same.

The causes may lie in the onerous ancestral karma, a concept found in Tibetan numerology. Anyone burdened by this is marked by excessive egoism. Even when such people offer their assistance, they may later feel regret and "reset" the situation, withdrawing their words and openly telling someone they tried to help in vain. If you recognize this trait in yourself, remember it tarnishes your karma. According to belief, such individuals feel like puppets, controlled by unseen forces, and must make a certain sacrifice for the greater good.

Individual features10

A sign of the desire to shift responsibility to anyone and anything: circumstances, situations, loved ones. These people are often weak-willed, selfish and irresponsible.

or

In a negative scenario such people could be dangerous. They tend to create and attract problems; they can cause harm during stressful times; and they can play petty dirty tricks to assert themselves.

When the first and second cells contain an equal number of digits, it is a sign of stable, balanced personality. These individuals excel both at self-control and maintaining discipline.

Two digits

Such people can be called social butterflies. Friendly and courteous, they easily find a common language with others. They flourish in the spotlight, craving admiration and praise. This trait – and this configuration of the matrix – is typical for many actors and singers. Their greatest rewards are recognition, gratitude, and acknowledgment. Sometimes, this need for validation can be intense, requiring constant reassurance of their value. Yet, they genuinely aim to be supportive – to listen, help, and please – and ultimately, they get what they want.

First of all, this is attention, they really suffer without it. Sometimes they also struggle to achieve their goals and lack willpower, determination and self-confidence, just like someone with one digit in the first cell. But a high level of energy (two or more Twos in the matrix) can compensate for this nuance. Praising them is crucial, this is the best motivation. They always expect laudation and often choose a career that provides it.

Women with such a character embody the essence of an "oriental wife." They possess their own distinct perspective and voice, yet remain flexible, ready to adapt and change. However, for them it is important not to succumb to victimhood.

Individual features

A sign of altruists, willing to sacrifice themselves and their goals for the greater good. If you encounter such numbers in your matrix, develop healthy egoism and learn to pursue your own aspirations.

Three digits

Perhaps the most apt terms to describe such individuals are stability and integrity. They are leaders who can achieve their objectives and maintain their composure. At the same time, they do not crush others but navigate the middle ground and value listening. They are highly communicative, yet pressure should be avoided, as it can instantly ignite their ire, and there'll be hell to pay. Despite their external tolerance, they are adamant and will stand their ground. An aggressor will have trouble if he decides to confront them head-on.

If it is true for you, don't force yourself. Also, don't endure humiliation or make decisions out of pity. Suppressing your leadership qualities and desires is dangerous – you risk "exploding" eventually. Note that one of your defining traits is unpredictability.

Such people are volatile: they thrive on debate and can quickly become enraged, only to shift to a boundless love for the world in an instant. This temperament often marks an artist. While those with two Ones may seek artistic pursuits for the sake of recognition, those with three Ones understand their inherent inconsistency and the drive to be unique in a certain field. In a woman's chart, this trait can signify eccentricity, typically met with indulgence.

Individual features

A sign of excessive irascibility and a tendency to hysteria.

Very far-sighted people. If they stand at the helm of a group or society, it will enjoy progress. It should be said that literally as well as figuratively they can't sit still: they are very active, nimble, mobile and prone to changing places.

Four digits

A true leader's character with all that entails: persistence, confidence and the ability to be a guiding star. Such people fiercely avert humiliation but also find obedience challenging. At the same time, an even number of Ones allows their owners to be effective leaders and managers. They can listen to someone else's opinion, they value their subordinates and will not offend them just to prove their power. Their authority is often unquestioned, leading others to naturally accord them the right to lead.

For women, it's crucial to assert their authority at work rather than at home to maintain a harmonious domestic life and family idyll. For example, I possess four Ones and one Eight, allowing me to excel as a leader despite the matrix's transformations. This configuration is particularly advantageous for men, as someone with four Ones can adeptly manage and overcome challenges, especially when fueled by strength.

However, it's important to remember that leadership is a collective endeavor. Always listen to others and acknowledge that there are multiple perspectives, and nothing will be able to impede your progress, except reluctance or laziness. Yet, even if you don't strive for leadership, your ambitions and inner strength remain, and your success may lie in other pursuits.

Individual features

A sign of poor character and a natural inclination to control and dominate. In the context of a young woman, it may contribute to problems in her personal life. In such a case, it's better to avoid displaying this tendency altogether or to do so only at home, away from strangers.

Five digits

A domineering personality in its purest form. Such people seek to control everything and everyone. They often refuse to consider other viewpoints, and often seem oblivious to anyone but themselves. Also, they are prone to neurotic behavior, and arguing with them is futile. Sometimes they can assume leadership roles, and even do it willingly, but even then, they remain steadfast in their convictions. Under pressure they become aggressive, and when something affects their interests, they act differently than people with three and four Ones.

10.In the "Individual Features" tables we present only those numbers that are important for considering a specific situation. This does not mean that the real matrix will have nothing else.
