"The Lady with the Dog and Other Stories" is a collection of stories by the Russian playwright and short-story writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. The collection's title story tells about an adulterous affair between an unhappily married Moscow banker and a young married woman, which begins while both are vacationing alone in Yalta.
