Mariquita

"Mariquita" is a Western romantic novel about a young woman of the same name. Twenty year old Mariquita had lived with her father, Don Juaquin, on his ranch ever since the death of her mother a few years earlier. Then their ranch received two visitors, her cousin Sarella and the handsome Mr. Gore who has come to work as a ranch hand. Mariquita is curious about the young man and talk of marriage is rife. But will Don Joaquin let them marry if it means losing his daughter's companionship and help on the ranch?
