This historical tale by Giambattista Bazzoni was extremely popular in its time. It tells the story of the adventures of Falco, a legendary pirate from Nesso. The novel contains the adventures of the pirate's rough companions, as well as the delicate love story between the peasant girl Rina, the pirate's beautiful daughter, and Gabriele, the favorite brother of Gian Giacomo Medici, known as the «Medeghino,» lord of Musso. Battles, intrigues, betrayals, and storms surrounded by the beautiful Larian landscapes are the ingredients of this exciting story published in 1829.
