When drifter Chuck Mellors is inveigled into assisting in a robbery which goes terribly wrong, he becomes a fugitive from the law. Seeking justice not only for himself, but also for the widow and child who suffered as a consequence of the crime, Chuck Mellors embarks upon a long journey through the Indian Territories to Texas.
