Richard Byrne presents a unique solution to the problem of drug addiction, and other social ills. Instead of adopting the usual method of dealing with such addictions by replacing one drug with another – Methadone, he has created a highly amusing, clever, and insightful play that uses the topics of sex and other comprehensive social issues such as politics, gender identity and ethnicity, to present religion in a new, more palatable way than conventional religion that usually simply goes over the heads of young people as boring.

His characters: the Virgin Mary, Adam and Eve, the Angels Gabriel and Michael are presented in a fresh; almost tongue-in-cheek way that particularly appeals to the young.

The result is a musical play that the youth of today can participate in directly and enjoy.
