Backup
Digital devices make us worried about data backup and restoration. Apple not only keeps the data secured from hackers but creates a genuine backup. Everything on iCloud is safe and accessible whenever you want. It is simple to sign up for your free Apple ID and get the iCloud sync with your phone data.
It is possible to synchronize everything from contacts to pictures, videos, documents, and much more. Users have the freedom to set the update limits or synchronize timings. The system will automatically generate a backup after that interval.
An iPhone never loses its value
Buying a phone that costs many bucks, but you will probably lose a considerable sum of money on its value after opening the box. Since it's not pin-packed and you might have used it for one month, the value goes down, and you will have a loss.

Set Up and Get Started
After getting a new iPhone, one of the major challenges is setting up and getting started with it. The people who are new to iOS will consider it hectic and time-consuming, but it is not. You have to select the options and proceed with the setup carefully. However, there is no complication in the procedure.
In this chapter, you can get to know everything about setting up and getting started with your new iPhone. You are making all the basic settings and getting it right from the beginning. Moreover, you can explore some basic and helpful features in your new iPhone to use it at its best.
Turn On and Set Up the iPhone.
The very first step is turning on the iPhone. The power, sleep, or wake-up button is the same in the iPhone. The location can be different depending on your iPhone model. Either it can be at the top left or the upper-left edge.
You need to press and hold the button until you can see the Apple logo on the screen to turn on the phone. Once you can see the logo, release the button and proceed further with booting. Sometimes, you have to charge the iPhone before switching it on. A low battery can cause a delay in turning the phone on.
Wake and Unlock
If the phone is already turned on, all you need is to press the wake button. It will turn the screen on and bring you a lock screen. By just swiping it, you can have the screen unlocked. Now, there is a next mission of getting started with the setup.
Select Language or Region
Turning on, you will get the options on-screen of the language or region. From the given table or list, it is convenient to select the appropriate option. Please make sure you select it right because the further options of connectivity and services are related to your initial selection.
Set Up Cellular Service
The iPhone asks you to enter a sim card to detect and connect with cellular service. You need to insert a card in the slot. The best thing about the iPhone is the sim insertion is simple and not fussy.
In the box, you will get a sim ejector pin. Take out the pin, push the pin in the sim, try the hole, and press gently. With one push, you will get the tray ejected. Now, use the Nano, or micro-sim, place it on the tray in the right direction and inject it back into its slot.
Once you push the tray in the slot, the phone will automatically detect the sim and cellular service provider.
Now you need to go to settings and select the option of Cellular. Select the option of Add Cellular Plan, and then you can scan the QR code the carrier provided or enter the provided code and details manually in the option.
Connect to the Internet
Next, you will get the option of choosing a Wi-Fi Network on the iPhone. Tap on the option and select the available network from the list. Enter the password and tap the Join button.
If you do not have access to any internet service or wish to connect to the internet, you can also tap on the skip button. Later you can connect with any internet connection or change the Wi-Fi connection as per your preference.
To change the internet connection, you can access Settings > Wi-Fi and select the connection option from the available internet connections in the list.
Apple ID and iCloud
There is a decisive moment before you set up and get started with the Apple ID or iCloud. This one-step is essential, and you have to take it seriously. You will get two options here:
● Are you replacing your old iPhone with this phone?
● Is this your first iPhone?
Selecting any one of these is essential. Each option comes with multiple options. Therefore, you have to make sure you pick up the right option.
Replacing old devices – if you are replacing your old iPhone with this model, it means you want to restore previous data. It will show you options of
● Restore from iCloud
● Back or Restore from iTunes
Selecting any one of the options will take you to the relevant sign-in screen.
First iPhone – When it is your first iPhone, it means there is nothing you want to backup from the iCloud or iTunes at all. Therefore, you can select the option of Setting up a new phone. If you want to restore or synchronize an iPod or iPad data, you should pick up the first option.
Signing in OR signing up to Apple ID
If you already have an Apple ID account, enter your email and password to access all your resources there. For the new users, it is free to sign up with Apple.
Select the option of creating an Apple ID for free. There is a possibility to skip creating or logging in to the Apple ID. You can access this option later but, you cannot enjoy the features coming with the Apple ID. It is better to do it right.
Fill out the essential details of your Email ID, passwords, and other related information. Agree to the terms and proceed with ID creation.
Now you have the options to select from
● Want to use iCloud
● Do not want to use iCloud
Using iCloud helps you have the data backup on iCloud so that you can access it anytime from your Apple ID on any device.
● Use Find My iPhone
● Do not Use Find My iPhone
It is a cool feature that lets you find your phone anytime you cannot locate it. Using your Apple ID, you can check the iPhone's location.
The next setting is for iMessage and FaceTime. You can add your email address or phone number to synchronize it with FaceTime and iMessage as well. You do have the option to edit the number or email later in the Settings>Messages option.
Next, you will get the option to use Siri (Apple's Voice assistant) or not. You can select it as per your choice. Using the feature helps you in using the iPhone in an advanced manner. It lets you access the searches and features seamlessly.
Apple ID settings
To change the Apple ID settings, you have options available in the Settings menu of the iPhone. All you need is to go to Settings, and there you can see your device name, which is probably your User ID. Tap on it, and you will get all settings options:
● Update contact information
● Change Password
● Account Recovery contact management
● Subscriptions and management
● Billings and payment methods
● Family sharing options
Turn iCloud features on or off
Turning off or on the different features of iCloud on your iPhone is quite easy. You can access the settings anytime and make changes just the way you like them.
Settings > User ID > iCloud > Apps using iCloud
Here you have the list of the apps using iCloud. You can switch them on or off as per your requirement.
Subscribe to iCloud+
iCloud+ is the option you have to buy additional space on the iCloud. It is the right option when you have heavy data and want to add more space for further data storage. Subscription is quite easy and handy:
Settings > Your Apple User name > iCloud > Manage Storage
Select the option of Change Storage Plan to Buy More Storage
Select the plan that suits you and follow further instructions for payment and settings.
Setting up Passcode or fingerprint lock.
Usually, you will get this option when you are setting up the Apple ID. Just in case you didn't get it, you can go to Settings > Touch ID or Passcode option as well.
All the models from iPhone 5S and later have the Touch ID option and Passcode. It is mandatory to set up a passcode before having the Touch ID.
Go to the Settings > Touch ID or Passcode and select the change or create passcode option to create a passcode. After turning it on, you can create this Passcode while setting up your new device.
Go to Settings > Touch ID or Passcode and select the Touch ID option to activate touch ID. It would be best to put the finger or thumb you want to record on the sensor. Please do not press the sensor but place your finger until it gives you a slight vibration and ask you to lift it back.
Then you have to place it again with a slight change in the finger's position. The sensor will be recording all sides of your finger to acquire maximum accuracy. On-screen, you can see what part of your finger has been recorded. Keep repeating the scanning until it is done.
In iPhone, you have the option of enrolling up to five different Touch IDs. You can scan more than one or two fingers for easy and quick unlocking.
Find Settings
The iPhone is a user-friendly device, and it has everything for you on the go. You can find the settings app icon at the home screen or next to the home screen. It is prominent and different at the same time. This icon is the basecamp of all the settings related to your phone.
When you enter the settings app, you will access your Apple ID, Phone settings, information, display, Call settings, and more. If you do not know the main domain of the required setting, you can search it.
On the top of the settings, you get a search bar. Enter any keyword there, like Themes, and you will get all relevant settings in results. It is seriously a matter of minutes to access any setting on your iPhone.
