Betelguese, a trip through hell

This is a long epic poem which begins with a shorter poem about what might happen after the death of the writer. In the preface, De Esque describes how he decided to kill himself at exactly 5 pm on the 6th September 1907, after writing non-stop and with no result for 36 hours. However, he woke at exactly 12.45 am the following morning with the complete contents of the poem Betelgeuse in his head.
