The Wreck on the Andamans

This is the story of the shipwreck of two ships, the Runnymede and Briton, on 12th November 1844. The shipwreck took place off the Andaman Islands in the Indian Ocean. These were both troop ships carrying many hundreds of men, but they were remarkable because many survived and were rescued.
