The Spiritual You in 2015

I can see that spirituality is not difficult for you to attain. It’s only a matter of choice. There has been some delay all this while in choosing this path; not anymore. 2015 is spiritually enlightening. You will embark on a new journey, a path never traded before. This road to nirvana has its own set of obstacles and rewards. Let’s unravel your spiritual journey and see if you make it to your Destination.

January-February-March – The first quarter is about the choice you make spiritually. There will come a point where spirituality will be one among many choices that you will have to make. Normally you would choose wealth, career, health etc, but this time you make the wisest choice of walking the path of spirituality. Do not doubt yourself for choosing this; it is an intrinsic part of your nature / character. I see you taking this harshly, trying to blame yourself and often questioning what is even wrong with you to feel this way about spirituality. You may have visions of vague spiritualism, where you are wandering all alone in the dark or in the woods; you may often have the urge to help others but may feel restricted due to your household responsibilities; you may feel bound to your work. You may also feel like foregoing all and taking a break to just do nothing at all. This is a good beginning. Why are these visions, feelings or confusions clouding your mind? So many questions will lead to at least one right answer—spirituality. This is the answer to all your questions. Be positive and tread on the path. You will see how beautifully this journey unfolds.

April-May-June – Self doubt, negative thinking, sleeplessness; this are the gifts you give yourself in the second quarter of 2015. Many unanswered questions haunt you like a devil that has possessed you, but please be informed that it is natural to feel this way. You are doing something different, something away from the usual routine of life. Hence your mind resists it in the form of negative thoughts and self doubt so you can give up this beautiful journey. My advice is, calm your mind, calm the chattering, all the noise that goes on in there. It’s your Mind. It has to obey you, not vice versa. So be in control and all resistance will dissolve. You may do this by reading some motivational books on spirituality or meditating at least five minutes a day. Make a practice of it and you’ll soon become perfect at it.

July-August-September – Good news is here. You will have guidance and support on this journey. The third quarter brings in what you have most wanted on your path to spirituality. A teacher, mentor or a guide steps in. Don’t wonder how this happened. This is a manifestation of your own thoughts; you asked for it and it was granted. This Mentor will take you through the study of the being. You need not listen meekly to all that the mentor says, he/she likes being questioned and probed. In turn, this will also widen your knowledge on the subject of spirituality. I am happy for you. In all this darkness, there is one little candle burning to show you the way. Make the most of this help and set forth on your goal of Nirvana.

October-November-December – I did tell you, spirituality comes quite naturally and easily to you. The fourth quarter is about the glimpses of enlightenment you feel from all the effort you have put in. You deserve a pat on your back for this. To feel what you will in this quarter usually takes much longer for normal people. But you are the Hierophant, a spiritual mentor yourself. Don’t forget this bit. You will notice the small successes during these months. You will feel reaffirmed that you are on the right path. Keep walking and see the changes life brings in.

Dear Hierophant,

After reading this book you will realize that you are doing well in most of the aspects of life—love, health, wealth, career, and spirituality. A few things that you probably need to work on are your health and career. You can’t afford to neglect your health. If you have a sound mind and body the rest will fall in place. I know what’s affecting your health adversely—the upheavals in your career. So here are a few things I want you to do to improve both of them:

Focused Meditation: To begin with I would like you to start with the Focused Meditational technique as described below:

Find five minutes of free, quiet time for yourself everyday and make it a habit, in these five minutes, to calm your mind and focus on your breathing. This can be done by sitting calmly in one position and focusing on the tip of your nose. Inhale and exhale slowly and gradually. Try to focus on your breathing for at least five minutes to begin with. As this gets better and you are able to concentrate on breathing, you can increase your meditation time. This exercise will help you to calm the incessant noise in your mind. In turn, you will reclaim calm and poise. It won’t be easy initially as your mind will wander from one thought to another like the butterfly jumps from one flower to another. That’s the challenge; keep the focus on your breathing. Slowly and gradually, you will get better. Don’t give up if you can’t focus at all times during meditation and have failed consistently. Rome was not built in a day and nor will the mastery over this exercise come easily. Practice will make you perfect. Keep your focus; keep calm and work patiently on your breathing. This is all about taming the mind. It obviously won’t happen overnight. Persistence will be rewarded and you will see the results.

Ask and it is Given: Read the book ‘Ask and It Is Given’ by Esther and Jerry Hicks. This book helped me work on the power of the mind over matter, thereby enabling me to get answers to each of my prayers. I started manifesting my wishes and desires in the manner I wanted to. The lessons you will learn from it are phenomenal and rewarding. This book will teach you how asking with faith answers all your prayers.

The book consists of explanations on the universal law of nature. It explains how this law works for us and only for our positive reinforcement. Unfortunately, we work against this law and that’s when disappointments and rejections follow. In this book you will find different techniques laid out to achieve different goals. You can pick the technique which most suits you depending on your desire and perform the technique sincerely. This, combined with the above meditational technique, will work remarkably. ‘Ask and It Is Given’ will change your perspective and give you a new outlook that will help you shape your life and get what you always wanted. Asking with faith truly answers your prayers. This I have learnt through my own experience and that of others.

Immediately after reading this book, I shared the most basic theory of this book with my 10 year old niece who was visiting during her vacations. I told her if she asked anything of god with faith, he would give it to her and that any wish of hers would come true. I didn’t dwell on the details of the book with her considering her age and ability to comprehend the intricacies, but just explained the concept of how the learning from this book could help her in her academics and otherwise. To this she immediately said that she wanted a Tablet and her mom wouldn’t buy it for her. So she asked me if she could apply this learning in manifesting a Tablet. I answered with a yes and well, left it at that. After four days she left for her home. Three weeks later I received a call from her, informing me of how she had got a Tablet from her father’s best friend who was visiting them from London. Gemini is the third sign of the Zodiac but the first to use human figures in its representation. Well, in Tarot too Gemini is described by the Lovers cards.
