"Foxhunting on the Lakeland Fells" by Richard Clapham filled a gap in the genre of instructional guides for outdoor activities. While many books described foxhunting in the Shires and the provinces, very few were entirely devoted to sport in the rough fell country of the Lake District. In this book, Clapham describes the landscape and fox species found in this region. It also provided a useful guide to the sport for those who wished to partake.
