This interesting book is an account of the events surrounding the dismissal of John Church, a Church minister from Banbury, through the perspective of his replacement, Reverend T. Latham. Church is best-remembered today for his involvement in the homosexual scandal of the Vere Street Coterie. He is claimed by some as the first openly 'gay' ordained Christian minister in England.
