Poems of the Past and the Present

There are 98 poems in this collection of Hardy's work. Many of the poems have the same theme as many of his novels. There is the familiar feeling of disillusionment, struggle on a personal front and melancholia. They are varied in length and subject matter, some inspiring, others interesting.
