The Mystery of The Barranca

This novel is set in Mexico and tells the story of Billy Thornton and Robert Syed. Billy and Robert had been wandering through interior Mexico for two years and had never seen a more beautiful sight than the slender 22-year-old Spanish woman in front of them – half Mexican and half Irish. The Yankees were smitten, but they were also on their way to a nearby mining town. Their ideal girl would have to wait for the time being. The men were preoccupied with more pressing matters, such as making a fortune.
