Mugabe-my part in his victory' is a light-hearted but factually based look at national service in the Rhodesian police force immediately prior to Robert Mugabe's accession to power in Zimbabwe. It follows the transition of Chris Walmsley and his university friends from raw, high spirited recruits to disciplined and competent policemen. Not that this is a straightforward process.
